Making it easier for online car buyers to find their dream car.

DesperateSeller.co.uk the UK’s premier car buying & selling website has today introduced an array of new vehicle data into their car selling website, helping online car buyers when deciding on their next car.

Whilst most websites offer the standard make, model, version and price data, DesperateSeller’s new model pages offer a host of additional vehicle data which helps buyers with their purchasing decision.

Consumer car reviews:
In most cases, the best advice when buying a car comes from previous owners. DesperateSeller has thousands of car reviews from private individuals. Each reviewer is asked to provide a detailed summary of their experience of the car, along with their favourite features and suggested improvements. The reviewer is also asked to rate the car out of five stars on eight categories, such as comfort, performance, fun to drive, etc.

Rodney Joseph, co-founder of DesperateSeller.co.uk stated; “It’s very easy to find professional car reviews on new cars but not so easy to find used car reviews. Our reviews are created by actual car owners who have driven them for thousands of miles. You cannot get a more accurate and realistic view of ownership.”

Value rating:
The DesperateSeller value rating system gives car buyers an indication as to whether the vehicle’s sale price is good value. The value rating is based on the price and mileage of the car against the national average. A rating out of 15 indicates how good a deal the car is. This tool allows car buyers to quickly find the highest rated vehicles.

Research and statistics data:
For each model of car, we provide statistical data providing the buyer with tools to judge whether a vehicle is priced correctly or not. By querying our cars for sale stock, we are able to determine the lowest sale price currently advertised along with the average sale price and average mileage to be expected. These figures are based on the year of the vehicle. In addition we provide an indicator to market supply. This figure compares the availability of a particular car against other models on the market.

Photo timeline:
Often, car buyers know the model of car they wish to purchase but are not sure which year the vehicle was introduced. Our photo timeline assists the user as they are able to view a photo from each year of the vehicle’s existence thus allowing them to select the correct registration year to narrow down their search results.

Key performance facts:
When buying a car, there are certain key facts that play a role in the decision making process. Rodney Joseph said; “Our data informs you what it will cost to travel a distance of 100 miles. This is a great financial tool as people often consider their journey to work in order to calculate their fuel costs. Another major consideration now is car tax. Since the Government changed the tax bands it can cost anything from £0 to £490 per year. If the vehicle sits at the top end of this scale you will want to know about it.” DesperateSeller therefore provides each vehicle’s CO2 emissions data. The final important piece of data provided is the vehicle’s insurance band which again is another major factor to consider when buying your next car.

“We are really excited about the integration of these new pieces of exclusive vehicle data into the site,” continued Joseph. “We’re dedicated to making DesperateSeller the first stop for online car buyers and sellers and this new data just adds further to the site’s appeal.” For further information, please visit; http://www.desperateseller.co.uk.
