Muir Omni Graphics, a leading manufacturer of industrial graphics and markings, is honored to have their sustainability efforts recognized by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association.

The SGIA Sustainability Program recognizes specialty imagers as they take steps toward developing a sustainable business ethic. Muir Omni Graphics and their employees are committed to adopting and implementing sustainable business practices and are proud to be one of twenty companies to earn the 2013 SGIA Sustainability Recognition Award.

Over the last several years, Muir Omni Graphics has introduced several practices to boost efficiency and reduce waste. In 2012, the focus included:

  • Replacing current lighting with energy-efficient lights
  • Boosting the company recycle program with enhanced receptacles
  • Issuing a revised Environmental Policy to include sustainability elements per the SGIA guidelines
