Community Child Care Council (4C's) of Alameda County will be hosting its annual Children's Faire on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

The Children's Faire is a free event for the community. There are children's activities, music and entertainment, a puppet show and a visit from Elmo! Each child who attends receives a free book. Parents will also be able to find out about resources that may be helpful to their family.

A special attraction this year is 4C's "Healthy Behaviors in Action". Families will enjoy healthy eating and physical activity demonstrations along with resources relating to limiting screen time and proper amounts of sleep. Come make your commitment to practicing healthy behaviors.

The Faire will be held at 4C's Hayward office parking area, 22351 City Center Dr. For more information, please visit our website at http://www.4c-alameda.org and watch the event video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElC_zODl8oQ.

For 40 years, 4C's has helped build a healthy community providing child care referrals, education and nutrition services, and child care payment assistance.
