Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) May 16, 2013
Lombard Global http://www.lombardglobal.com, an Investment Banking and Management Consulting firm based in Plano, Texas (Dallas Fort-Worth) USA announced new growth to their Emerging Markets practice in China.
China has re-affirmed its goal of becoming a moderately prosperous society by 2020. It can become a high income country by 2030 through a strategy combining high levels of investment with rapid advances in technology comparable to that of Japan from the 1960s through the 1970s and Korea’s from the 1980s through the end of the century.
During the next decade, more of the gains in productivity are likely to come from technology absorption and adaptation supplemented by innovation. High levels of investment, both from the public sector and private sectors will remain a crucial source of growth in China through deepening actual technological change. By 2030, China expects to have pulled even technologically with the most advanced countries and increasingly, its growth will be paced by world-class technology innovation.
“We’re starting to see a structural slowdown in China related to the export economy and excess supply of commodities and credit. We believe these structural imbalances will continue and probably worsen over the over short to medium term, as the Chinese economy restructures’’ said William Billeaud, President of Lombard Global, Inc. “No investment, however, goes up in a straight line. Because we are firm believers in the long term capabilities of growth performance in China, we believe the optimal time to invest in technology innovation and growth in China is now, not after the economy restructures. With deep ‘hands on” technology and general investment experience in China, select additional partnerships will increase our commitment to long term growth in China for our clients,” said Billeaud.
David Zhou, CEO of Keys Fund concurs. “We’re really excited about the relationship with Bill and the entire team at Lombard Global. The combined capabilities offerings of Lombard Global, Inc. and Keys Fund are special. We receive new deal flow and clients from The Americas while Lombard grows its base in the largest emerging market and soon to be the largest economy in the world. This collaboration will bring a high level of added value to our current portfolio clients and future clients.”
