Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc.—a premier provider of financial software solutions—is pleased to announce that Brad Larson has joined the company as Vice President and Treasurer of Global Treasury Systems, a Chesapeake subsidiary company.
In his new role, Larson will employ his 30 years of global and domestic treasury experience to support and enhance the treasury operations for Chesapeake and Global Treasury Systems. His primary responsibilities will include budgeting and forecasting, maintaining relationships with financial partners, debt and investment management, capital structure overview, and oversight of the company’s financial and risk controls.
In addition, Larson will work very closely on the continued development of the company’s SmartTreasury® product—a complete, end-to-end, automated treasury workstation system that offers decision makers a comprehensive view of cash flow.
Prior to joining Chesapeake, Larson held top treasury roles at iconic brands like Payless ShoeSource, PetSmart, and Claire’s Stores. Larson holds the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification, a benchmark of competency in the finance profession that is recognized as the leading credential in corporate treasury worldwide. In addition to his reputation as an innovator of treasury processes, Larson is a popular speaker at national financial conferences and actively participates in several national Treasury industry groups. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), as well as many industry advisory boards and panels.
