Executive board member Mark V. Lomanno will participate in the panel “Statistics and Prognostications” on Monday, June 3, from 3:45 – 4:45 p.m. EDT. Lomanno, the former president and CEO of Smith Travel Research (STR), the global authority on current trends in hotel supply, demand, occupancy and room rates, will join fellow experts from Horwath HTL, Expedia, STR and TravelClick to discuss data-driven strategies and expectations for the hospitality industry based on its first-half performance and second-half outlook.
Chief executive officer Kristin Muhlner will join the panel “The Next Generation of Branding: Improving the Customer Experience through Social Media, Channel Optimization and Data Analytics” on Tuesday, June 4, from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. EDT. Muhlner, alongside senior executives and strategists from Hyatt Corporation, Proskauer, Ferguson Partners Ltd. and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, will discuss how companies are using social media, channel optimization techniques and data analytics tools to improve customer acquisition, satisfaction and loyalty across different regions and market segments.
