Harold N. Iselin, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Albany office, has been named to City & State’s “Albany Power 100” list.

This annual list ranks the “100 most powerful players in Albany who have the clout to get things done in the Capitol.” In compiling this list, City & State says it conducts off-the-record discussions with a number of the most respected insiders in state politics and surveys the insights of readers through a series of online polls to reveal the politicians, staffers, advisors, lobbyists, advocates, consultants, business leaders, members of the media, and labor leaders who “really wield power in New York”.

City & State ranks Iselin 48th on this year’s list stating, “As the managing shareholder of one of the top lobbying firms in the state, Iselin has helped make sure that Greenberg Traurig has the ear of many of New York’s influential lawmakers.”

At Greenberg Traurig, Iselin focuses his practice on governmental affairs and health care matters, representing diverse clients before the executive branch and state legislature. Additionally, he handles complex civil litigation matters, litigating a broad range of civil cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Iselin was a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice from 1984 to 1986, following which he became Assistant Counsel to Governor Mario Cuomo with responsibility for transportation, education, veteran's affairs and freedom of information matters.
