For Father's Day fun, the 149-passenger Dolphin Star catamaran welcomes families aboard its Wild Dolphin Watch, BBQ & Snorkel Cruise. It's a full day of both dolphin watching and snorkeling in paradise, with BBQ lunch.
Departing from Waianae Boat Harbor at 9:30 a.m., the Dolphin Star will take guests to see wild dolphins and other marine life in their natural habitat. Dolphin activities include crew of Certified Naturalists’ narration, video presentation and keiki (child) program. Plus, dolphin sightings are guaranteed (or receive a return cruise-only ticket to try again).
After building up their appetites, cruise-goers can help themselves to a freshly grilled buffet-style lunch featuring a gourmet burger with all the fixings, from grilled pineapple to avocado, Kamuela tomato, purple onion, Kula lettuce, cheeses and selection of sauces. Trio of potato chips, chocolate brownie dessert and all-you-can-drink fruit punch completes lunch.
Next, explore the beautiful underwater world of Oahu's best snorkeling spot, with snorkel gear, instruction and tours provided. The Dolphin Star is equipped with a fresh water shower, easy step stairs into the water and onboard restroom for guests' convenience.
The Wild Dolphin Watch, BBQ & Snorkel Cruise returns at 3:00 p.m. and is priced at $106.00 for adults and $64.00 for children ages 3-11. Transportation from the Waikiki area is also available for an additional $22.00 per person. Father's Day is Sunday, June 16, 2013 but the cruise is available daily.
