Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition, which the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals began in 1995 to honor outstanding achievements in the communication profession. The competition has grown to be one of the largest of its kind in the world.

“Forward-thinking cities and counties across North America are looking at their websites as open government portals that provide the first impression of their organization for many people. For that reason, these sites must visually convey what the area is like, while proactively sharing public information that empowers citizens and keeps government accountable to the people,” said Steve Chapin, president of Vision Internet. “Vision Internet prides itself on balancing the creative design of our government websites with the incorporation of key information and the latest technology.”

At the core of Vision Internet’s website functionality is an innovative new government content management system, visionCMS™, which makes it easy for non-technical staff to update the site to keep information current and fresh, while maintaining the site’s creative design. Introduced last fall, visionCMS has received high marks from municipal clients who are embracing the trend to stay relevant with their communications.
