On Thursday, May 23rd, Rick Storlie of New Home Sales Coach will be presenting a webinar documenting a three-step referral generating system for home builders and remodelers.

Rick Storlie is the CEO of New Home Sales Coach, a new home sales training firm that specializes in helping home builders and remodelers reach their sales goals. Storlie’s upcoming webinar will lay out a procedure he has developed over the last three years that helps builders increase referral leads. He will document a process for both current and past clients, plus one for Realtors® and trade partners.

Many home builders have built, or lost, their business based on referral leads. Long standing builders understand a good client may provide several future buyers. Yet, most builders do not have a system for generating precious referral business.

“One of the questions I always ask builders is what they're doing for a referral program. 99% of the time the answer is 'nothing.' In 2010 I tracked the conversion rate of five different types of lead sources. Client referral leads converted to buyers 75% of the time. Realtor® leads converted 25% of the time. Nothing else came close to those numbers,” said Rick Storlie.

“Most builders let the referral process happen organically. That's a huge mistake. Generating more referral leads is by far the best use of marketing dollars and time,” Storlie said. “So, I developed a three-step system any builder can incorporate in a matter of weeks to get more referral business.”

Storlie's system includes:
1.    Creating an easy to manage Rewards program for clients, Realtors® and trade partners
2.    Using events to promote the Rewards program
3.    Tying weekly sales activities into executing and growing the program
