International law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP today announced that experienced litigator, Timothy D. Johnston, has joined the Boston office as of counsel in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.
Johnston focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on product liability, intellectual property and insurance matters. His product liability experience spans cases involving cigarettes, asbestos-containing products, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. Regarding intellectual property litigation, he has handled matters involving roof vents, oil and gas exploration software, anti-marking technology for printing presses, feminine hygiene products, blood separation devices, operating room positioners, bandages and veterinary needles. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Johnston was a partner with Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP.
Additionally, Johnston has substantial experience advising insurance companies. Most recently, he represented a Massachusetts-based motor vehicle insurer in several high-profile insurance matters.
Johnston is a graduate of Cornell Law School (J.D.) and Princeton University (A.B.).
