This has been another successful Match Fund campaign by Localgiving.com. Not just because we’re good at running them, but because the better we are, the more our charities get out of them!
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 16 May 2013
The match fund was the sixth run by Localgiving.com in the past two years and this time, the focus was on increasing regular monthly donations. Pledging to give just a small amount each month makes a huge difference to a small charity’s ability to continue its great work with confidence and to plan for the future. Localgiving.com will match every regular donation set up during the campaign up to £10 a month for a year, increasing the amount received by £120 in 12 months.
Nearly 900 donors committed to continue supporting their chosen local charities by setting up almost 1,000 monthly Direct Debits, and charities in Berkshire, Birmingham, Cambridgeshire, County Durham and Darlington, Liverpool and Merseyside, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Sussex, and Warwickshire benefited from the campaign.
Localgiving.com’s Executive Chairman, Marcelle Speller OBE, says: “This has been another successful Match Fund campaign by Localgiving.com. Not just because we’re good at running them, but because the better we are, the more our charities get out of them! I want to thank everyone who pledged to make an on-going donation to a small, local group – you’d be amazed at the difference your regular gift will make.”
