Mummy blogging is a growth industry and video is an exciting medium to work in. I’m delighted to be recognised by BritMums for my video skills and welcome the future opportunities it brings.

More than 50,000 votes were cast in the awards which are backed by BritMums, the UK’s largest and most influential network of parent bloggers. This is the second year running that Nadine’s blog has been recognised in this category, getting to the finals of the 2012 Brilliance in Blogging Awards.

Each of the 16 ‘Brilliance in Blogging’ Award categories has a shortlist of nominees, and the overall winner will be decided by an expert panel of judges. The categories cover excellence in Social Media, Travel, Food blogging and Commentary amongst others, and the category that Nadine’s blog Juggle Mum is shortlisted in is ‘Video’.

The winners of each category will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony held in a Grade II listed venue in a private courtyard in the heart of London, presented by author and stand up comedienne, Viv Groskop.

Nadine from Yorkshire started blogging in 2008 and quickly grew her hobby into a freelance writing business, working with leading UK companies such as Butlins, HP, Scotch UK, Kodak and Kellogg’s. Since introducing video to her blog, she has worked with brands for online video campaigns, turning her clips into hard cash whilst continuing to produce entertaining and informative vlogs on topics such as ‘tween freedom’ and recipe sharing.

Nadine Hill, creator and editor of Juggle Mum says: “It’s an exciting time to get into blogging as more companies are looking for alternative avenues to spend their marketing budgets. Mummy blogging in particular is a growth industry and video is an exciting medium to work in. I’m delighted to be recognised by BritMums for my video skills and welcome the future opportunities it brings.”

Celebrities Katie Piper and Kirstie Allsop are amongst the high profile speakers at the two day event. The awards will be held on the first night of the BritMums annual conference in June 2013.
