Wuffitmix are the official sponsors of the United Kingdom Gundog Team for The Kennel Club international working test.

The Gun Dogs will wear the Wuffitmix colours

I am over the moon to be sponsoring them this year, they’re a fantastic team and I’m extremely proud that we will see them in the WuffitMix colours.

This month, Wuffitmix, the suppliers of dry dog food UK are proud to announce their sponsorship of the Gundog Team for the Kennel Club.

Wuffitmix often sponsor dogs in need as their dog food has all the nutrients poorly canines need to build up strength and health. This time they are sponsoring dogs at the peak of their physical fitness, as they partner with The Kennel Club to provide the best complete dog food for the country’s best gun dogs.

The UK Gundog team will be sporting the Wuffitmix colours as they compete in the international working test that takes place on the 30th and 31st of May. The venue is the historic Chatsworth estate and manager Hannah Dugdale along with Sarah Woodward, whose dogs are sponsored by Wuffitmix, will be going along to show their support.

Paul Blackmore of The Kennel Club explains what they are looking for on the day, he says, “The day is intended to help those who intend to compete in Field Trials or Gundog Working Tests and for those who may have already taken the plunge but wish to improve. While the trainers can accommodate a wide range of abilities, it is expected that the dog will already have some basic level of training; sit and stay, walk to heel, recall and be able to retrieve. Those who have not yet reached this standard are invited to join the Novice Handlers Training group which takes place on the same day.”

This year the UK Gundog Team consists of:

  •     Team Captain Richard Johnston from Ireland
  •     John Halstead Jnr representing England
  •     Stan Payne representing Scotland
  •     Andy Fisher representing Wales

Naturally, all of the owners of the dogs buy dog food online and feed the gun dogs on various different WuffitMix products.

Hannah Dugdale, the manager of Wuffitmix is excited about the event, she says, “I am over the moon to be sponsoring them this year, they’re a fantastic team and I’m extremely proud that we will see them in the WuffitMix colours.”
