For starters, the event will have a So-Cal classic car exhibit with Woodies, and other Californian Cool Classics - as well as wine barrel race cars on display.

Craft and Micro brew beer tasting has also been added to compliment the Saturday food and beer pairing where top culinary art chefs whip up recipes utilizing a variety of Craft Brews like ShockTop, Beck's Sapphire and Goose Island.

This is the 30th year for the Festival which offers concerts Friday, Saturday and Sunday to complement the wine tasting experience. Country Friday brings out Scotty McCreery, "American Idol" season 10 winner and hot-on-the-charts ("All Over The Road")Easton Corbin. Saturday Wine Country Rocks with The All-American Rejects, Eve 6 and Berlin with Terri Nunn. Sunday fans will get a fun dose of Celtic Rock with Young Dubliners.

There is also plenty of what the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival has branded for 30 years. Hot Air Balloon launches at dawn feature up to 40 colorful balloons. Free tethered rides are provided by Soboba Foundation - Resort and Casino. Friday and Saturday evening fans crowd into the Wine Gardens for the "Balloon Glow" of up to a dozen tethered hot air balloons.

Held at the Lake Skinner Recreation Area and surrounded by the Shipley Preserve, the Festival’s park setting provides natural vistas whether flying aboard a hot air balloon or planted on terra firma and sipping a glass of premium wine.

Wine lovers will find Southern California Wine Country offers a wine for every palate. Up to 20 wineries will be pouring at the Festival including Robert Renzoni, Wilson Creek Winery, Lorimar Winery, Wiens Family Cellars, Maurice Carr'ie Winery, Van Roekel Winery, Thornton Winery and South Coast Winery and Resort. Boutique wineries and gold medal winners are showcased in the food and wine pairings offered Saturday and Sunday. These gastronome adventures include four courses prepared by the area's executive chefs and paired with Temecula Valley wines.

Gates open at 3 p.m. Friday to an Arts and Crafts Faire, Kids Faire, exhibits, international food court, concerts on the main stage and wine tasting. The luminescent Balloon Glow is created when balloon pilots synchronize igniting burners of the balloons. The burner is what creates the “hot” in the air.
