Don McMahan Named As Vice President of Sales To Build Channels and Market Share for 3rd Party Service Provider.

Recognized for excellence in channel development, Don F. McMahan to lead Imaging 411's Growth in the U.S. Market

Well known ECM channel veteran, Don F. McMahan has joined Imaging 411 this month as Vice President of Sales. McMahan had previously helped Imaging 411 as a consultant in 2011 and 2012 with the launch of their very popular MVP reseller service program that provides an extremely profitable contract service business to provide service on Kodak, Fujitsu, Canon and other document imaging scanners. "I thought the timing was right to join the 411 team", said McMahan, "with the very public uncertainties for a major player in the market and continued changes at other scanner vendors, the reseller community is looking for quality of service, consistency in their channel program and the ability to regain margins lost in the all too competitive hardware market. This is going to be a lot of fun."

President of Imaging 411 Gary Armstrong commented “We have known Don for a long time and with the continued growth we have enjoyed the past couple of years, not only in our staffing and coverage nationwide, it appeared to be the right time to invest in serious expansion with the addition of Don to our management team. "

Mr. McMahan joins Imaging 411 with more than 25 years of successful experience building teams, channels and strategies that have produced exceptional growth in the document imaging and ECM markets. Mr. McMahan was the former regional business manager, vice president of sales for the U.S. and Canada for Eastman Kodak where he revamped their channels and go-to-market strategies and launched their new channel program for Capture Pro software.

Mr. McMahan is widely known for his success in building channels and alliances, notably with Fujitsu as their vice president of sales for the U.S. and Latin America and as the architect of their market-leading success in distributed scanning. He also pioneered their independent software vendor (ISV) strategy and vertical market push into both healthcare and government and was instrumental in launching popular channel programs such as their first deal registration program. As executive vice president of sales and marketing he transitioned Visioneer and their line of Xerox scanners from pure retail to a reseller channel with more than 800 partners in less than a year and was responsible for double digit share in the distributed capture category.

Mr. McMahan is also the former chair of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) International Board of Directors and a recipient of the prestigious Company of Fellows Award in 2008 for the AIIM organization.

Ralph Gammon, editor of The Document Imaging Report added, “Don has done a great job building value-added reseller channels over the years - and his work developing Imaging 411's MVP program is yet another example. Imaging 411 offers an intriguing and aggressively priced third-party service alternative to the programs offered by scanner vendors. Hiring Don as a VP to drive more sales of service contracts through VARs shows that Imaging 411 is now prepared to unleash an aggressive channel strategy."
