May 16, 2013 – Lacey D. Hofmeyer, an attorney with the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been elected to serve a second two-year term as director of the Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (DCBA YLS). In this role, she will assist the Board in fundraising efforts and act as the chair for the Bar Passage Program and the Judicial Outreach Committee.
Hofmeyer, who has worked for six years in the Litigation Practice Group at Greenberg Traurig, focuses her practice on products liability, real estate, employment, and commercial litigation. She has litigated matters involving contract disputes, disputes over real estate purchase and sale agreements, real estate boundary disputes, foreclosures, products liability, employee non-competition agreements, discrimination claims, and business torts.
In addition to having served as director of the DCBA YLS, she has previously served as Chair of its CLE, Bar Passage Program, and Judicial Outreach committees. She is a long-time judge in its Mock Trial Competition for Miami-Dade high school students.
Hofmeyer received a law degree, cum laude, in 2006 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in 2003 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
