The IT Sourcing and Procurement Summit (ITSPS) will be coming to the Marines’ Memorial Club & Hotel in San Francisco, August 21-22, where attendees will learn how to capitalize on emerging best practices and strategies in IT asset management.
ITSPS will be GSMI’s first summit focused solely on IT and procurement strategies.
The Summit will feature six workshops as well as six distinctly themed general session tracks over the course of two days. The Summit will provide case studies on various topics, including vendor management, software licensing, and IT asset knowledge. Experts in the IT procurement and asset management field will share their proven strategies and educate attendees on key trends and how to improve their overall performance. On August 21st, there will be a networking reception where attendees folks will mix and mingle with the leaders in the IT sourcing and procurement industry.
Confirmed speaker for ITSPS include, Carla Di Castro, the Director of IT Strategic Sourcing for McKesson and Cindy Rodini, Vice President of Institute for Supply Management (ISM) - Northern California. Di Castro will be covering How to Negotiate the Tough Issues in ERP Failures Associated with Third Party Implementation Post RFP. The session will provide applicable tools to address challenges with vendors. Rodini will be covering Critical Elements in A Service Level Agreement (SLA): The Material Brief and Other Tools to Recoup Upfront Investments in IT Assets in Early Cancellation Cases. Rodini shares the dos and don’ts for drafting and approving a service letter agreement.
