The Global Missions Health Conference Announces Registration Open for 2013

The Global Missions Health Conference announces registration is now open for the 2013 conference, the largest gathering in the world for students, missionaries, doctors and organizations interested in medical missions.

Earlier this month, online registration opened for the 2013 Global Missions Health Conference. Thousands of students, medical professionals, missionaries and mission organizations will gather for the event, scheduled November 7-9 at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. The GMHC is the largest event in the country dedicated to healthcare missions, and this year’s conference includes several authors, medical experts, and other leaders as plenary speakers and breakout session teachers. This year’s speakers include Dr. Brian Fikkert, Professor of Economics and Community Development and the founder and Executive Director of the Chalmers Center for Economic Development at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA; Dr. Bill McCoy, a medical missionary and author of “Until We All Have Names;” and Dr. Jonathan Hall, a dentist with Christ Community Health Services in Memphis, TN.

In addition, the event will include dozens of breakout sessions grouped around themes of patient care, global health issues, community health and development and missions preparation. Continuing education credit is offered for many of these courses.
