Although we make fun and joke about the emotions of teenagers it can be hard to be on the receiving end of such tempers.
(PRWEB UK) 18 May 2013
According to The Telegraph, British teenage girls struggling to control hormones argue with their mothers 183 times a year. Statistics show they also slam 164 doors, have 257 fights with siblings and fall out with their friends 127 times a year. Figures also stated that the girl only fully appreciates her mother’s efforts when she turns 23.
The statistics confirm previous beliefs regarding teenagers and their sometimes uncontrollable emotions and tempers. The study also looked at the strain that such extreme emotions and arguments had on the receiver, in this case the mother. Most reported stress and discomfort at arguing with their teenager which whilst in some cases was natural, could lead to more serious strain and stress on a relationship. For those who may struggle with arguing on such regular occasions it may be helpful to seek help from complementary therapies such as hypnotherapy.

The National Council for Hypnotherapy explained, ‘Although we make fun and joke about the emotions of teenagers it can be hard to be on the receiving end of such tempers. In some cases this could cause difficulties with anxiety and increased stress levels. Hypnotherapy could work to alleviate these stresses and provide the clients with the knowledge to control these feelings.’
