The Peugeot 308 looks like a stylish new hatchback and a clear rival for the Volkswagen Golf, even though it won’t be released here until 2014.
Macclesfield, Cheshire (PRWEB UK) 17 May 2013
Peugeot have unveiled details about its forthcoming new 308 model, which won’t be on sale in the UK until January 2014.
The Peugeot 308 will be available for the public to see first-hand in September 2013 when it makes its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new generation model will be 140kg lighter than the current 308 it will be replacing thanks to it using PSA Group’s new modular EMP2 platform.

“The Peugeot 308 looks like a stylish new hatchback and a clear rival for the Volkswagen Golf, even though it won’t be released here until 2014.
“Only a few snippets of information have been released so far, as we don’t know the engine options or price range, but it’s been confirmed that CO2 emissions will be less than 85g/km and it comes with a 9.7-inch touchscreen interface.
“The Peugeot 308 won’t be on sale until the beginning of next year, but the first images and model details are bound to whet the appetite for many car buyers.”
