Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 17, 2013
Dynamic Graphics announces a new version of its quantitative visualization software package, CoViz 4D. CoViz 4D’s 7.0 new features include drag-and-drop loading from Schlumberger Petrel projects, drag-and-drop loading from Landmark Graphics SeisWorks, hyperspectral imagery display, and stereoscopic (3D) viewing. Along with the new features and enhancements, CoViz 4D 7.0 also has two new optional geophysics modules, Sim2Pem and Pem2Seis. Sim2Pem creates petroelastic models from rock physics and simulator inputs and Pem2Seis is a 4D synthetic seismic volume creator. DGI will be demonstrating CoViz 4D 7.0 and the Sim2Pem and Pem2Seis modules at the American Association of Petroleum
“Every CoViz 4D enhancement is focused on helping users use their data to make better decisions. We firmly believe that seeing data in context is necessary to fully understand what your data are telling you. We love hearing about successful drilling decisions that could not have been made without the analysis and understanding that CoViz allows.” Dynamic Graphics President, Art Paradis
Demonstrations of the new features of CoViz 4D will be available at the Dynamic Graphics booth (#833) at the AAPG conference in Pittsburgh, PA, May 19-22.
About CoViz 4D
CoViz 4D leads the industry in providing quantitative visualization of time-variant data. CoViz 4D allows users to view their 3D and 4D data in context with other data from the field, enabling better understanding of the data and better decision making. CoViz 4D makes it possible for users to simultaneously view and interrogate multi-disciplinary datasets from throughout the asset development team—regardless of the original data source. Understanding through data fusion—powerful in 3D—increases significantly when used in 4D: the unique temporal functionality in CoViz 4D allows users to visualize how development decisions affect their reservoir.
