May 17, 2013 – Jordan B. Taylor, an attorney with the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been named to the board of directors of Temple Beth Am Day School, in Pinecrest, Fla. In this role, he will support the school in its mission to provide early childhood and elementary education programs with a focus on Judaic studies.
Taylor, who works with the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group, focuses his law practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and other general corporate matters. He also has a background in telecommunications and technology law.
Taylor has been recognized for his professional achievements, including being named by Florida Trend in 2012 as a Corporate and Securities “Up and Comer.” His team was ranked as a top corporate law firm in Miami as selected by corporate directors in the annual "Legal Industry Research Study" by Corporate Board Member magazine and FTI Consulting (2002-2009, 2011-2012).
Taylor received a law degree, cum laude, in 2006 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a master’s degree in accounting in 2003 from the University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting, summa cum laude, in 2003 from the University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting.
