AHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management is proud to present the 2013 Physician Leadership Track: Physicians Uniting Around Quality, Appropriateness, and Efficiency on Sunday, July 28 at the AHRA Annual Meeting & Exposition in Minneapolis, MN. This program has been created specifically for physicians aspiring to advance their business productivity and data utilization expertise in order to enhance clinical quality and overall efficiency.
"We are very excited about this new program designed specifically for physician leaders that support the medical imaging services of hospitals and health systems, as either a chief medical officer or radiology department medical director," said Carlos Vasquez, AHRA Board of Directors President. "The session topics are spot on with the top priorities for all of us serving in the medical imaging profession, and the speakers are nationally recognized for their expertise in these areas. The program sessions will cover a wide range of industry topics and will be presented by a variety of industry experts, including Jeff Patton, MD; Rich Duszak, MD; Tim Myers, MD; Woojin Kim, MD; Chad Calendine, MD; Carl Black, MD; Jim Jensen; Zeke Silva, MD; and Pat Basu, MD.
Participants of this one day session will acquire actionable short term and long term strategies designed to address the issues facing the profession of radiology today, such as operational data utilization, standards and repeatability, regulatory issues, quality and efficiency reporting tools, and peer review.
