I am ready to make the most of an opportunity to show what I can do as either a kicker or a punter and show teams that I can compete with the best.

Kevin Goessling has been kicking with Kicking Coach and former NFL kicker Michael Husted this spring and made a successful trip to workout with the CFL's Hamilton Tiger Cats last Friday. Kevin has been working on improving his trajectory on his field goals with Husted, resulting in more consistent hits at a longer range of 50+ yards.
At his most recent workout with the Hamilton Tiger Cats, Goessling reports, "I had a hang time as high as 4.2 seconds and was consistently hitting the ball high and far." Goessling also commented he went 8 for 8 on his field goals, all between 45-50 yards, and had punts with hang times in the 4 second range.
Michael Husted is impressed with Goessling's progress. Husted says Kevin is, "hitting the ball the best that I've ever seen him kick with great height, great hangtime and distance, and very consistent." He also says, "I definitely think that he has the leg to kick in the NFL and he would be on my short list of guys to bring in for a workout."
Sports agent Jill McBride Baxter comments, "This last year Kevin has worked very hard to improve his leg strength. I believe he will be an asset to many teams who are currently in need of a left-footed kicker who can also punt." Kevin Goessling is confident and is "ready to make the most of an opportunity to show what I can do as either a kicker or a punter and show teams that I can compete with the best."
