San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 19, 2013
Mark Walczak of Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA) asks the public to join him and other NFL greats such as Dermontti Dawson and former Raiders player Mike Haynes at the next free PPHA event at Scripps Memorial Hospital May 21 and learn how treating Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) can change lives. His best friend, Junior Seau, who is tragically no longer with us, suffered from sleep disorders. This is just one of the reasons Walczak is so passionate about helping to spread awareness.
Pro Player Health Alliance is on a "National Awareness" campaign to educate the public of the health risks and dangers of sleep apnea, including treatment and prevention, with alternative solutions. One solution in particular includes a simple dental oral appliance that is worn like a mouth guard while during the night. It works very effectively to open the airway for proper breathing while sleeping. Mark states, "Preventing OSA, saving lives and improving overall health for fellow teammates, friends and family is our mission."
Dr. Bradley Eli recently treated Mike Haynes, Dermontti Dawson, Jesse Sapolu and Ricky Hunley in the past couple weeks. By being referred to Dr. Eli by Pro Player Health Alliance, they have all successfully been treated for their sleep apnea and are living each day with more energy and have lowered the risk for heart problems and weight gain. Each of these players, and many more, will be attending the next PPHA event to share their testimonies and sign autographs.
This event is hosted by Dr. Eli and is co-sponsored by Pro Player Health Alliance and Gergen’s Orthodontic Lab who will provide free oral appliances to qualified attendees. Registration can be found at http://www.pphasandiego.eventbrite.com
