TeamViewer is a great application for sharing your desktop with remote users. For that same reason, it makes your computer vulnerable to remote users as well.
(PRWEB) May 22, 2013
PolicyPak Software, the leader in desktop management software, recently unveiled their newest Pak for TeamViewer.
The pre-configured Pak for TeamViewer takes the uncertainty out of the user experience so users get the same experience every time they use the application. Admins can configure the “Rules for connections to this computer” setting so only administrators are able to log on through TeamViewer. The Pak also allows admins to ensure sessions get recorded by configuring the “Auto record remote control sessions” setting. A full overview of the TeamViewer Pak can be found on the PolicyPak website.
IT Admins and network administrators who want to try out the PolicyPak software can get a free trial by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by calling (800) 883-8002.
Jeremy Moskowitz, Group Policy MVP and founder of PolicyPak Software said, “TeamViewer is a great application for sharing your desktop with remote users. For that same reason, it makes your computer vulnerable to remote users as well. It’s imperative that your application settings remain locked down as you, the administrator, configured them - or else.”
PolicyPak can deliver settings using Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.
