Kansas City Sports Sponsorship Agency Completes Fourth of Six 2013 Global X Games Events

RCA Group, on retainer with ESPN since 1995, will serve as the brand impact agency supporting ESPN's Global X Games events through August. The agency's services include placement of brand signage at event venues to maximize patron and broadcast visibility, and management of sponsor brand impression delivery throughout the event.

RCA Group, a Kansas City-based sports sponsorship agency (http://www.RCAGroup.com), completed the fourth of six Global X Games events as the brand impact agency for ESPN, the Worldwide Leader in Sports®, on May 19 following the conclusion of Global X Games Barcelona. Following a year of joint planning and development, the agency is supporting the network’s sponsorship implementation activities at the 2013 Global X Games. RCA Group’s services include working on ESPN’s behalf with event organizers in each country during on site preparation, placement of brand signage at event venues to maximize patron and broadcast visibility, and management of sponsor brand impression delivery throughout the event. The company also provides operational support and implementation for sponsor activities in X Fest, an interactive festival that includes, celebrities of the sport, music and sponsor interaction with fans attending the games.

RCA Group was first signed by ESPN in 1995 to support the network’s sponsorship and implementation footprint at the inaugural Summer Extreme Games in Newport, Rhode Island. It has continued as an integral part of the network’s development and on site operations team at X Games events continuously over the past 19 years to deliver sponsor impressions to attendees on site, to 98 million households in the United States, and viewers watching on ESPN International on 35 networks in 11 languages and 180 countries on all seven continents.

After successfully completing work in Aspen, Colo. (Jan. 24-27), Tignes, France (March 20-22), Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil (April 18-21), and Barcelona, Spain (May 16-19), RCA Group is focusing on the following events: Munich, Germany (June 27-30), and Los Angeles, CA (August 1-4).

RCA Group coordinates with ESPN staff and representatives of event sponsors which include Jeep®, Ford Motor Company®, Go Pro®, Red Bull® and the United States Navy at each venue and will be on-site prior to and during events.
