London School of Business & Finance (LSBF) and eCornell today announced a strategic partnership to deliver executive education and expand access to e-learning worldwide. The agreement marks a significant expansion for eCornell and Cornell University, as it taps into LSBF’s global distribution network in over 150 countries.

Founded in 2003, LSBF is a fast-growing global business school, with over 25,000 students and campuses in three continents. As a division of Cornell University, eCornell offers global access to world-class Ivy League professors through online professional development programmes in fast-growing industries such as Financial Management, Hospitality, Human Resources, Marketing and Systems Design. Through this partnership, eCornell will reach students in major markets such as the UK, South America and Russia, where LSBF has a strong foothold.

“We are extremely proud to work with eCornell, an institution known for its tradition and excellence in education. We see this as a strategic alliance to benefit both institutions. Whilst LSBF has a strong background in innovation and business expertise, Cornell brings 148 years of history in teaching and research at both local and international levels”, says Prof Maurits van Rooijen, LSBF’s Rector and CEO. “This partnership also reflects our goal to connect, strengthen and help higher education institutions to reach global markets and scalability.”

Chris Proulx, CEO of eCornell, says: “We’re very excited about working with LSBF. In the last 10 years, the school has shown exponential growth, becoming one of the most dynamic business schools worldwide, with truly global operations. We’re confident that our partnership will help us to reach new markets, giving students worldwide access to our Ivy League-class education and the chance to achieve more in their careers.”
