Creative minds across the globe will now be able to become more creative in their personal and professional life, thanks to a creativity workshop being held in Provence, France.
Ceci Glusman, spokesperson for The Creativity Workshop, said The Creativity Workshop in Provence will meet for five days, three-and-a-half hours per day, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, July 16-22, in the town of Arles.
Class, Glusman noted, will take place at Hotel Jules Cesar, located in the center of the historic district of Arles.
Participants will be within walking distance of the museums, the Roman theatre (which dates back to the first century BCE), van Gogh's yellow café (now Café Van Gogh), the world-renowned International Photography Festival (Les Rencontres d'Arles), and a variety of other restaurants and shops.
“While various exercises in The Creativity Workshop will help participants better appreciate their surroundings in Provence, the sights, sounds, and scents of this remarkable region will fuel their creative work in class,” Glusman stressed.
Glusman added that the famous month-long Theatre Festival of Avignon, only 20 minutes from Arles, will be hosting hundreds of theatre performances from around the world while the Workshop is taking place.
“The International Photography Festival / Les Rencontres d'Arles will also be going on during our time in Arles and is located within walking distance of the Workshop site,” Glusman pointed out.
But the workshop in Provence isn’t the only seminar The Creativity Workshop will hold this summer.
According to Glusman, The Creativity Workshop is also offering workshops in other cities around the world, including Crete, June 23 – 29; Barcelona, July 4 – 10; Florence, July 25 – 31; and New York, June 7 – 10 and August 16 – 19.
Glusman described The Creativity Workshop as an experiential workshop of doing and experimenting, with exercises designed to stimulate the imagination and innovative thinking in a playful and noncompetitive atmosphere.
“Our interactive course also helps attendees explore the process of creativity, rather than simply focusing on the product; discover how to find inspiration in one’s surroundings; and get over creative blocks and the fear of failure,” Glusman said. “Many people who have taken the Workshop say that it was a transformative experience, helping them to write their books, start new companies, complete long overdue projects, transition to rewarding retirements, and change the way they look at life.”
