York based city breaks specialist, Superbreak is joining forces with tourism giant Visit England for their latest advertising campaign, Holidays at Home. The £4million project, which hopes to promote the British Isles as the ideal ‘staycation’ destination for this summer’s breaks, includes a six week TV advertising campaign involving iconic British characters, Wallace & Gromit.

With a wide range of UK based product, Superbreak offers its full backing to the campaign and its core message, both online and through its agency sales team. Current products such as attraction breaks, spa breaks and two night dinner deals emphasise the UK’s variety of ‘holiday at home’ options currently available to customers.

According to a recent survey conducted by the short break company, approximately 52% of current Superbreak customers intend to take a UK break within the next 12 months, with York, Edinburgh, the Lake District, Bournemouth and Blackpool being the most popular destinations.

In addition to its provincial UK offers, Superbreak continues to expand its London product range and reputation as experts in London breaks. Selling all the upcoming theatre shows such as the highly anticipated Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, plus exclusive offers on theme parks and sightseeing attractions, the tour operator has highlighted itself as a one stop shop for all your short break needs.
