The company was recognized with a total of eight CMA Awards, including five gold awards, two bronze and an award of merit:
- Best Graphic Design: Doctor Who (gold)
- Most Creative Marketing Application: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey™ 2013 Scroll Calendar (gold)
- Best Children’s Calendar: Nightmare Before Christmas (gold) and Tinker Bell (bronze)
- Best Glamour Photography: Life Made Sweet (gold)
- Most Creative Marketing Application: Marvel Comics™ (gold)
- Most Original: Year One (bronze)
- Best Graphic Design: The Twilight Zone™ (award of merit)

The only worldwide trade association for the calendar industry, the CMA was founded in 1989 to represent the interests of designers, marketers, publishers, printers and suppliers of both retail and custom calendars. The association’s National and World Calendar Awards recognize the best calendars every year based on criteria that includes:
- Quality of artwork/photography/graphics
- Readability and information quality of the calendar grid
- Originality of the calendar
- Complete execution of the calendar subject/theme
- Fulfillment of the category entered
The Mead and DayDream brands produce nearly 400 calendars each year for the retail market. The 2014 editions are scheduled to be available online in mid-summer of this year, with retail outlets carrying them by early fall.
