Everyone from families to small business owners have questions about purchasing health care insurance under the newest regulations.
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) May 22, 2013
Experient Health will host a Health Care Reform 101 seminar June 25 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sussex County Volunteer Fire Station at 20169 Princeton Road in Stony Creek, VA.
“Everyone from families to small business owners have questions about purchasing health care insurance under the newest regulations,” said Dayton Wiese, a health care and benefits consultant with Experient Health.
“We’re hosting this seminar in Sussex County, as well as others across the state, to help answer any questions people have. Purchasing health insurance is no easy task. Better understanding on what’s happening with health care reform can make the prospect seem less daunting.”
New health care reform laws that go into effect in 2014 mandate that individuals carry health insurance or, in most cases, pay a fine. Consumers will have to purchase plans with comprehensive benefits that meet minimum coverage requirements.
The seminar is meant to provide an open forum to ask questions about other health care reform topics, online marketplaces (formerly referred to as exchanges), tax credits, essential health benefits, pre-existing conditions and network requirements.
