Mobile+Web DevCon also announces three new speakers: Jim Zhang from IBM, Sonia Sharma from Google, and Ted Drake from Intuit.

Mobile+Web DevCon, coming to Boston July 16-18, 2013, features several new session topics such as: responsive design, iOS and Android UX design, Android security and monetization strategies, building and managing enterprise mobile apps, developing, testing and debugging with PhoneGap and much more.

Mobile+Web DevCon also announces three new speakers: Jim Zhang from IBM, Sonia Sharma from Google, and Ted Drake from Intuit.

Jim Zhang, presenting on the Mobile Web & Web Development track, is a Software Architect working on IBM Worklight, whose expertise include web development, javascript programming, Java EE and eclipse plug-in development. Jim will be presenting on how mobile DevOps can be used to help address developers’ mobile lifecycle challenges, and how to keep up with user expectations that are driving businesses away from the safety of mobile web towards hybrid and native applications. Sonia Sharma, presenting on the Android track, works on the Android team at Google as a Technical Account Manager. Prior to this, she worked on mobile and web domains at Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and a few startups, in various capacities, both technical and business centric. Sonia’s session, Making Money with Android Apps, will explore the different monetization methods available with Android, as well as tips and tricks, insights and different business models such as paid apps, in-app billing, advertising and much more.

Ted Drake is an experienced front-end engineer, developer evangelist, and accessibility expert. Ted leads the accessibility efforts for Intuit's desktop, web and mobile products. Ted will be speaking about iOS Focus Control, where attendees will learn about how to make their app’s content discoverable, actionable and understandable. Attendees will learn how to navigate with a phone's screen reader, as well as how to work with the functions that control focus within each operating system.
