Veterans have always enjoyed special treatment and pricing at Liberty Buick GMC but this year, owner Scott McCorkle is extending his generosity to the general public. “Buick has always been a part of our country’s narrative”, said McCorkle. “We didn’t want to forget that on the most special day of the year for veterans and their families.”
Did you know the Buick designed an M-18 Hellcat Tank for the US Military during World War II? McCorkle continued “When you buy a Buick, you are buying a piece of America. Buick has been in production for 110 years.” During the war effort, Buick helped the government produce ammunition, engines for the B-24 bomber, and cylinder heads. According to Military.com, Buick was asked to design a new kind of war machine: the tank destroyer. The workers dubbed the M-18 tank destroyer the Hellcat and Buick produced over 2,500 during World War II. The Hellcat helped led the US and its allies to victory over Hilter in 1945.
Buick, as a part of GM, continues to support the military with preferred pricing options. Its American-made luxury at its finest and Liberty Buick GMC is offering lower pricing to everyone on all vehicles on Memorial Day at their Green Tag Memorial Day Celebration.
