Viewbix, the leading video marketing platform, today announced the release of its new video search engine optimization toolset. Available to Platinum and Titanium users, the new SEO features boost video visibility on major search engines, allowing the easy creation of search engine-compliant video sitemaps.
“Video SEO has become an increasingly critical component of one’s overall SEO strategy,” said Jonathan Stefansky, CEO and Co-Founder of Viewbix. “Our goal is to help our users increase the visibility of their interactive videos and pages on Google and other leading search engines. In Google, Viewbix’s SEO techniques can help videos earn a preview “snippet,” which net much higher click-through rates than non-snippeted videos.”
The new video SEO wizard quickly guides users through the process. First, users define their video with a category, description, and tags. Next, they brand their video with button text and a button link. Google, however, cannot index embedded video information, so Viewbix then adds the metadata to a new or existing video SEO sitemap. Then users enter a destination URL, get the code they need, and simply add it to a video sitemap file on Google Webmaster.
For marketers, bloggers, and other content professionals, the new Viewbix SEO features offer a powerful behind-the-scenes channel for boosting views and engagement. Upcoming additions include Viewbix-hosted sitemaps and Schema.org markup language.
