We hope to be able to raise $50,000 this week via this promotion so we can really help this outstanding organization.
(PRWEB) May 21, 2013
A popular U.S. gold dealer known for patriotic promotions has announced plans to donate $132 to the American Red Cross for each certified gold coin sold between Tuesday, May 21 and Friday, May 24. The American Red Cross was originally founded on May 21, 1881 by Clara Barton and a circle of her acquaintances.
The organization specializes in aiding domestic and overseas disaster relief efforts, and the American Red Cross web site says that today’s missions are to “provide compassionate care in five critical areas: people affected by disasters in America, support for members of the military and their families, blood collection, processing and distribution, health and safety education and training as well as international relief and development.”
Certified Gold Exchange Vice President of Marketing Stewart Lawson said he is proud of his team for coming up with the idea. “The American Red Cross has done so much for our troops and all Americans, so we wanted to find a way to support them other than just by making our yearly donations. This way, each of our clients’ names goes on the donor list for 2013 and of course they still receive the discounted Certified Gold Exchange pricing,” Lawson said. “We hope to be able to raise $50,000 this week via this promotion so we can really help this outstanding organization.”
Donations $132 will be made for each one-ounce, pre-1933 PCGS or NGC gold coin sold to dealers or household investors between Tuesday, May 21 and Friday, May 24, 2013. There is a 3-coin minimum and a 50-coin maximum per order.
