ORTEC Announces Expansion and Restructuring

ORTEC, the world’s leading provider of supply chain logistics optimization software, announced today that it has promoted CEO North America Corne Aantjes, to the position of Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the global Executive Board. Current EVP Americas Jeff Wilson will become President and VP Operations Jeff Bailey will become Chief Operations Officer (COO). Wilson and Bailey will equally share management responsibilities for North America.

Aantjes joined the company in 1994 as a solution architect after graduating from Rotterdam’s Erasmus University with degrees in Mathematics and Econometrics. He opened ORTEC’s North American headquarters in Atlanta in 2001 and has developed an innovative optimization product set and a blue-chip client portfolio including: Coca-Cola, Walmart, Procter & Gamble, Clorox, Molson-Coors, Benjamin Moore and General Mills. Over the last twelve years, ORTEC has extended its worldwide leadership position in the advanced planning arena with a strong focus on vehicle routing and dispatch as well as pallet and load building, by strong growth in the American market. Leading organizations in different industries have decided to partner with ORTEC to optimize their logistics and become more competitive. Aantjes is proud to have been able to start and grow this business unit to be one of ORTEC largest with a combination of innovative products, lean customers as well as global accounts in industries such as CPG, Retail, Oil & Gas and others. Aantjes was also an active member of organizations such as Vistage CEO and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Aantjes will relocate to ORTEC’s new global headquarters which just opened near The Hague, The Netherlands.

ORTEC Announces Executive Team Promotions

Jeff Wilson has been promoted to President, North Americas from Executive Vice President. Wilson has more than 25 years of experience within the software/technology industry building, transforming and evolving diverse businesses and optimizing sales productivity and operational efficiency. He has held prior senior management positions at INMAR, WHOOP, ARIBA and PROCURI and is widely recognized as a talented change agent. In his first year at ORTEC, Wilson has led an organizational and brand revitalization. He will be responsible for sales, marketing, finance and human resources functions.

Jeff Bailey has been promoted from VP of Operations to Chief Operating Officer (COO) for ORTEC and is responsible for operations, software implementations and customer service. With over 25 years of experience in transportation, supply chain and logistics, Bailey has led continental and global truck routing, load building and workforce scheduling projects for companies in the CPG, retail, oil & gas, and railroad companies. He has recently led the global implementation of solutions and services for companies such as Procter & Gamble and Walmart, while developing innovative training initiatives.

Bobby Miller has been promoted from SVP Product Strategy and Customer Experience to Global CPG Strategist. He will work closely with Aantjes to develop new products and markets for existing and new CPG customers. Bobby pioneered the innovative ORTEC solution, Perfect Shipment, which utilizes demand forecast to generate optimal shipments, enabling organizations to plan and reduce freight cost in advance of execution. He has over 25 years of expertise developing supply chain software solutions for consumer goods companies.
