National Museum of the Pacific War To Participate in Blue Star Museums

The National Museum of the Pacific War is one of over 1,800 museums that will offer free admission to military and their families from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Today the National Museum of the Pacific War announced the launch of Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,800 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2013. Leadership support has been provided by MetLife Foundation through Blue Star Families. The complete list of participating museums is available at http://www.arts.gov/bluestarmuseums.

The National Museum of the Pacific War is a Texas Historical Commision Property and is managed by the Admiral Nimitz Foundation.
