Merit Integrated Logistics Awarded Multi Year Services Contract by Fred Meyer Chehalis Distribution Center

Merit Integrated Logistics is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide logistics support at Kroger’s Fred Meyer Retail Service Center in Chehalis, WA.

Merit responded to a request for proposal sent out by Kroger in February of this year. Kroger selected Merit’s proposal among those submitted by the nation’s top logistics companies as well as Roadlink, the incumbent service provider.

Merit will begin to provide comprehensive services in the Chehalis facility on May 19th 2013. Ensuring a seamless transition, Merit is hiring 130 employees dismissed by Roadlink and 40 local applicants. In addition to an immediate pay increase, Merit will offer employees company-subsidized affordable healthcare programs, paid time off, and incentive bonuses.
