Rosco continues to invest in its products and services, resulting in new innovations that focus on preventing distracted driving behavior and protecting fleets from false insurance claims.

During National Distracted Driving Awareness Month in April, Rosco Vision Systems participated at various events that showcased the Dual-Vision™ XC Driver Risk Management Solution. Rosco joined the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for the Distracted Driving Technology Showcase to demonstrate the Dual-Vision™ XC and how it can help to increase safe driving practices. The Dual-Vision™ XC was also shown at last month’s Lifesavers National Conference sponsored by the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The Lifesavers National Conference discussed highway safety challenges and the solutions that have been proven to work. These forums allowed safety and technology companies to join numerous organizations in the continued fight against distracted driving.
“Over the past six years, Rosco has become the leader in no monthly fee windshield based automotive event recorders through its ability to offer a continuous and event video-based solution,” said Peter Plate, Rosco’s Director of Sales & Marketing. “Rosco continues to invest in its products and services, resulting in new innovations that focus on preventing distracted driving behavior and protecting fleets from false insurance claims.”
Dual-Vision™ XC Driver Risk Management Solution is designed to prevent collisions and any related potential injuries to employees and other people. This is accomplished by identifying and correcting unsafe driving practices through coaching and analytics from DV-Pro® fleet management software. Dual-Vision™ XC also assists commercial drivers in following federal laws regarding hand-held devices. Failure-to-comply distracted driving fines negatively impact drivers and businesses, with potential fees in the tens of thousands of dollars.
Rosco Vision Systems products, from continuous automotive event recorders and backup camera systems, to rearview mirror systems, provide real value for fleets. With the close of Distracted Driving Prevention month in April, Rosco has embraced the month of May as Global Youth Traffic Safety Month.
