Kure Pain Management Looks to Continue Support and Medical Care for Injured Workers and Insured Auto Accident Patients

Kure Pain Management has launched a successful effort to help patients with workers' compensation and insured auto accident cases. With an overwhelmingly positive response, Kure Pain hopes to expand on these services to help even more patients.

In early 2013, Kure Pain Management formally launched a special “legal liaison” to assist patients with workers’ compensation and insured auto accident cases. As one of the first pain management groups in Maryland to cater toward this type of patient, Kure Pain Management has received an overwhelmingly positive response and is now looking to further expand its services.

“The first couple of months have been very successful,” says Margaret Rose Evans, Director of Marketing and Sales for Kure Pain Management. “Patients involved in work-related accidents or automobile accidents are often overwhelmed by the system. We are brightening their experience by being there to immediately answer questions, schedule their appointments and help streamline the process.”

Kure Pain Management created a special phone number, fax number and email address devoted to workers’ compensation and insured auto accident patients. As a result, patients, physician offices, insurance adjusters and attorneys reach a live representative who is specially trained to assist with medical care questions, insurance benefits, appointment scheduling and billing details.

This standard of care is a huge shift for workers’ compensation and auto accident patients, who are usually turned away because of their insurance situation. Kure Pain Management accepts all workers’ compensation appointments, even those claims that are being contested. For auto accident injuries, Kure Pain accepts insured claims, meaning one of the parties involved has insurance benefits.

Kure Pain Management has one of the most highly qualified teams of pain management experts in the mid-Atlantic region. In addition, Kure Pain is one of the region’s largest group practices for neck, back and body pain with eight locations throughout Maryland including Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Waldorf, Leonardtown and the Eastern Shore.

The direct line for workers’ compensation and auto accident appointments is 443.270.4321. Visit Kure Pain Management at http://www.kurepain.com for more information.
