The experts at OPS believe that the franchise consultant of the future will need a combination of skills—both from a technical standpoint and an interpersonal one—that are very different from what the position requires today.

Franchise Operations Performance Summit (OPS), the only franchise executive conference dedicated to operations performance excellence, returns to Denver for two days of workshops, to be held July 22-23.

The role of the franchise consultant in the future is one of the topics to be addressed at this year’s Franchise OPS in Denver.

“The technology is out there to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of franchise consultants but it’s not all about technology,” said Evan Hackel, a speaker at Franchise OPS and founder of Ingage Consulting. “The experts at OPS believe that the franchise consultant of the future will need a combination of skills—both from a technical standpoint and an interpersonal one—that are very different from what the position requires today.”

This topic and other discussions focused on franchise operations will be discussed by a diverse roster of franchise experts, featuring: Hackel, Bob Gappa of Management 2000, Rupert M. Barkoff of Kilpatrick, Townsend and Stockton; Keith Gerson of FranConnect; Eric Stites of Franchise Business Review;; Mindy Golde of Listen360; Cordell Riley of Tortal; and Steve Abercrombie of Profit Soup.

“Part of what makes Franchise OPS different is the free flow of ideas from both the experts and attendees and that you leave with concrete actionable items that you can implement from day one upon your return,” said Riley, president of Tortal, a company that specializes in developing online training programs. “I initially attended Franchise OPS in 2011. I was hooked from day 1. The discussions are so relevant and real-world that even though I’m now a speaker, I still send someone from my team to every OPS.”

In addition to the educational benefits, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities with C-level franchise executives, Franchise OPS offers the added bonus of being approved for 300 CFE credits by the International Franchise Association.
