Veterans Benefits lawyers, David Russotto of Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban has set a world record for the most pushups on a paddleboard in 90 seconds.

The Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban law firm is proud to announce that partner David Russotto achieved the record-breaking status for the most pushups on a paddleboard in 90 seconds on May 6, 2013.

Mr. Russotto achieved this feat in Wrightsville Beach North Carolina performing 49 push-ups on a floating paddleboard. In order to achieve this record-breaking status, Mr. Russotto had to maintain his pushups with his arms locked at the peak of each pushup, elbows reaching a bent 90-degree angle at the base of the pushup and complete this challenge within 90 seconds.

He channeled his military experience and mindset as a Navy JAG officer to help accomplish this goal. On May 10, 2013, someone beat his record only by two pushups. Mr. Russotto plans to take this challenge head-on, and will attempt to re-break this record in August 2013 with the goal of doubling his pushup record. In the meantime, Mr. Russotto will be training and competing in several paddleboard races in Wilmington and in Outer Banks, NC.
