Diversity Focus, a non-profit organization striving to improve the living and working environments for all residents in the Creative Corridor region, is releasing results for its 2013 Creative Corridor Community Survey at a news conference on Thursday, May 23rd at 10:30 a.m. The survey follows a benchmark study, conducted in 2008.
The survey is a critical component to the organizations’ effort to lead and support efforts that attract, nurture and retain people of diverse backgrounds, cultures and beliefs in the Creative Corridor in order to enhance the community and achieve success and growth for all residents. “We believe it is very important to share the results from this survey so residents know how people feel about their current communities and how Diversity Focus can help them contribute and succeed,” said Executive Director Chad Simmons.

Why: To share insights from the 2013 Creative Corridor Community Survey which assesses the climate of our neighborhoods and communities. 1,198 residents gave their perspective for the 2013 survey. The survey’s insights will be shared with governmental, non-profit, business and other organizations.

Vernon Research Group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, conducted the research study.
