CoCENTRIX is transitioning the hospitals' official records from paper-based to fully electronic, creating a common standard to automate their clinical, financial and administrative processes. The ONC-ACB certified CoCENTRIX Electronic Health Record (CoCENTRIXehr), an integral component of the CoCENTRIXccp, is being implemented at Mary Starke Harper Center (Geriatric), North Alabama Regional (Acute Care), Taylor Hardin Secure Medical (Forensic), and at the newly built Bryce Hospital (Extended and Acute Care). With fully integrated features from intake through after care planning, the CoCENTRIXehr enables ADMH clinicians to provide continuous improvement of care and treatment to those they serve within the entire continuum of care in the ADMH system.

Additionally, with the CoCENTRIXccp in place as the state-wide coordinated care platform, Alabama's psychiatric hospitals can share treatment and discharge plans amongst facilities and between community providers and other agencies across the continuum of care; easily exchange data with the Alabama Health Information Exchange; transition patients to the appropriate community provider or agency at the right time to ensure appropriate levels of care; and aggregate data to provide the necessary analytics to drive improved clinical outcomes and cost savings.
