Smoking is becoming a more and more unacceptable habit with the introduction of the smoking ban and with society leaning towards eliminating smoking completely.

As stated by Luton's official Government site and published on the 11th May 2013, two workers were fined for smoking in their work related vehicles. The act, which is now illegal, meant that when law enforcement officers fined the two workers on the spot which they refused to pay and were subsequently taken to court. As a result the two workers had to pay the fine as well as the court fees.
Councillor Aslam Khan added, "We are committed to protecting the health of all Luton residents, so will always prosecute if we find someone smoking in a work vehicle."
The fines and associated court case are the latest of smoking related fines which are prevalent throughout the whole of the UK. Whilst the NHS are doing their upmost to help people stop smoking, some are also trying complementary approaches such as hypnotherapy.
The National Council for Hypnotherapy is an online hypnotherapist directory which lists local qualified and professional hypnotists throughout the UK. Members of the NCH are skilled to help with a variety of issues including weight loss, anxiety, phobias and habits such as stopping smoking.
A representative from the NCH explained, ‘Smoking is becoming a more and more unacceptable habit with the introduction of the smoking ban and with society leaning towards eliminating smoking completely. Fines and court cases are becoming more common and as a result more smokers are looking to quit forever – hypnotherapy can achieve this by taking a fresh and unique approach.’
The National Council for Hypnotherapy continues to follow smoking related news.
