2013 has been a year of change and growth for short break specialists Superbreak due to the launch of their European flight packages back in December 2012. Along with the ongoing popularity of Eurostar Breaks, Superbreak now sell a wide range of European City Break packages, too. With ATOL & ABTA protection, one checked-in bag per person and free airport check-in as standard, the new flight-inclusive breaks have generated strong revenue increase for the travel company.

Superbreak’s flight-inclusive European city breaks are expected to see an expansion reflective of the companies’ Eurostar bookings, which have seen a growth rate of +40% year on year. Eurostar packages have now been available to Superbreak customers for over 12 months and provide city breaks via Eurostar to over 10 European destinations.

Since flight-inclusive packages became available on, the top 5 most popular European city breaks have proved to be Rome, Paris, Dublin, Amsterdam and Jersey. Continuing to expand its European product, Superbreak also offers a growing range of attractions and extras which customers can add to their European breaks. Despite Superbreak’s flight-inclusive European city breaks being on sale for less than 12 months, they have swiftly established themselves as a firm customer favourite.

The short break specialists continue to grow their reputation as a one-stop-shop for all short break needs from organising transport and hotel accommodation to providing an exciting range of sightseeing extras. Now selling a diverse range of packages both in the UK and Europe, Superbreak customers can enjoy a greater choice when it comes to booking their next short break.

Chris Hagan, Superbreak’s Head of Overseas, Transport and Ancillary, commented; “I am delighted that we are now able to offer our customers such a wide range of travel options for getting to their destination. We are able to provide them with peace of mind that is backed by 30 years experience, full ATOL bonding and help and advice being just a phone call away. We are also in the process of finalising agreements with around 30 new airlines to offer our customers even more choice”.
