SouthernAlpha has teamed with Industrial Strength Marketing (ISM) for Nashville’s first User Experience (UX) Road Trip, a Lean UX workshop and networking event on wheels scheduled to leave Nashville for UXJXN in Jackson, TN May 30.
The Jackson UX workshop features LUXr CEO Janice Fraser, a recognized leader in lean startup and lean UX. Fraser has trained hundreds of Silicon Valley startups in interactive design for web and mobile products. Workshop topics include Lean UX fundamentals, developing product interfaces, and best practices for employing research methods.
Individual tickets are $200 and include food, beverage, workshop admission and round-trip transportation in a luxury coach.
“This is a fun opportunity for Nashville’s best and brightest entrepreneurs, designers and developers to ride in style to Jackson,” said David Ledgerwood, COO at SouthernAlpha. “Whether you’re a UX veteran or just starting out, the trip in itself is great way to combine learning and networking before and after the workshop.”
The UX Road Trip marks the second partnership between SouthernAlpha and ISM. SouthernAlpha’s first live event, Spark, presented Southeastern tech startups and entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their ideas to Nashville’s top investors.
“We’re pleased to expand upon our growing relationship with SouthernAlpha and use this exciting event to announce the expansion of our User Experience Design team,” said James Soto, CEO of ISM. “We along with our sponsors Horton Group and Mercury Intermedia are big believers in SouthernAlpha’s mission to promote news, intelligence and inspiration to the Southeast startup ecosystem.”
