Miller Bowles Law and founding partner Christopher Miller received 2013 Commitment to Justice Awards in recognition and thanks for outstanding contributions to the Safe Alliance Legal Representation Project. Safe Alliance assists over 20,000 people annually to provide hope and healing for those in crisis.

Miller Bowles Law and one of the Firm’s founding partners, Christopher Miller, were recently honored at the Safe Alliance 3rd Annual Legal Representation Project Attorney Appreciation Event. The event, which took place on May 1, 2013, is held annually to recognize the generosity of the firms and attorneys who support Safe Alliance. Chris and the Firm received 2013 Commitment to Justice Awards in recognition and thanks for outstanding contributions to the Safe Alliance Legal Representation Project.

Safe Alliance’s mission is “to provide hope and healing for people in crisis,” through a variety of programs and services, including: a 24-hour sexual assault/rape and domestic violence crisis line; safety planning for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and child abuse; shelters for survivors of domestic violence; counseling for adults and children who witness or experience domestic violence or sexual assault; domestic violence education and counseling; court advocacy/accompaniment; and legal representation by pro-bono attorneys for domestic violence survivors. Safe Alliance assists over 20,000 people annually throughout North Carolina with offices in Cabarrus County, Charlotte, Lake Norman and Union County.
